You are encouraged to take advantage of early load in on Friday, October 9. This will help the event get started on-time!

Hands-on-Hallway

Open to all attendees AND to the general public! Please encourage your students and their families to visit!

Students will receive raffle tickets for visiting booths. We will raffle off 1 free robotics summer camp at Kettering University in 2026 (Up to a $1000 value)

"Mentor of the Year" Award

Their time to shine!

This is your team's chance to highlight a mentor of your choosing that promotes female engagement in STEM within your team and exemplifies the values of FIRST. There are no gender restrictions on who can be nominated.

Nomination (includes short essay; no more than 400 words) MUST be written and submitted by a student/students on your team.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28!

Please share with your students and have them nominate a mentor from your team!

Audience: Primarily Students (but mentors can join as well!)

Description: This panel celebrates the achievements of the women in STEM who've come before us and gives them a platform to speak about their experiences and inspire the next generation. Come hear from female industry professionals in the STEM field and have your questions answered!

Will be presented on Saturday during lunchtime, bring your lunch with you!

MHARI Workshop

"Mental Health Assistance in Robotics Initiative"

Presented by: FRC 3604

Audience: Primarily Mentors (but students can join as well!)

Description: This workshop is a mentor-tailored crash course on how to build a better relationship with students. It includes an interactive presentation discussing empathy skills, stress management, and humility with demonstrations. There will also be a Q&A session with a social worker and MHARI student presenter.
